1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Quotly platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Quotly is a quote-generation platform that provides professional-grade estimation tools for home improvement projects including driveways, lawn care, roofing, and painting. The Service connects property owners with contractor-generated estimates and allows property owners to generate self-quotes using the same professional tools.
3. User Accounts
You may register as a Property Owner or a Contractor. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
4. Quote Accuracy Disclaimer
All quotes generated through Quotly are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual project costs may vary based on site conditions, material availability, labor market changes, and other factors not captured during the quoting process. Quotly is not responsible for differences between estimated and actual costs.
5. Payment Terms
Generating quotes and booking contractors through Quotly is currently free for property owners; payment for the work itself is arranged directly with the contractor. If Quotly introduces paid features, any payments will be processed securely via Stripe and these terms will be updated accordingly. Quotly provides pricing estimates based on the information available at the time of the quote.
6. Contractor Independence
Contractors listed on Quotly are independent third parties. Quotly does not guarantee contractor availability, licensing, insurance, or the quality of their work. Quotly is not a party to any agreement between a property owner and a contractor. Any disputes arising from work performed must be resolved directly between the parties involved.
7. Contractor Obligations
Contractors agree to provide accurate pricing information within their calculators, to respond to leads generated through the platform in a timely manner, and to maintain any licenses or certifications required by their jurisdiction. Contractor tools on Quotly are provided free of charge.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quotly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Quotly in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Quotly reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in King County, Washington.
11. Changes to Terms
Quotly may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
